Support Our Mission
There are numerous barriers to accessing and completing a full course of effective mental health treatment, and the inability to pay should not be one of them, especially for this group of individuals experiencing symptoms due to the sacrifices they have made, putting their lives on the line for our nation.
Gifts will go directly to funding the clinical services of active-duty and retired military members and their families.
A mental health practice dependent on insurance reimbursement and private individuals’ ability to pay out of pocket, leads to significant gaps in treatment. Too many mental health claims go unpaid, making independent practice unsustainable. Many organizations have predetermined limits on the amount and type of treatment allowed, often inconsistent with evidence-based protocols, requiring denial of treatment or treatment stop before recovery is realized. Thus, many providers no longer accept insurance as payment for treatment of mental health services, for both ethical and financial reasons, and are thus limited to only providing services for those who are able to pay.
Founded, directed and operated by the clinical service providers, all assessment and treatment provided by our organization are authorized directly by the collaborative multidisciplinary patient treatment team, guided by empirical evidence and objective clinical outcome measures.
